Antique Posters and Vintage posters

People when say they are more into vintage stuff, many people would presume that they mean old and thus antique stuff but in truth and in actual meaning this is not the correct relation! An antique is defined as an old thing almost as old as 100 years but vintage is something old but not a sold as an antique!!! We all know, have heard and used the word Vintage clothing; this means clothes inspired from the earlier era like from 1920's and later on years.

Antique posters and vintage posters are closely related in meaning in the same manner but these are not the same thing at all. Antique posters may include the posters of antiques like furniture, or clothes or any old thing like the first telephone ever made, or for that purpose the first airplane model etc theses are all included in the category of antiques. The vintage posters on the other hand would be of vintage stuff like the fashion and clothing line or for wine! Vintage wine is one of the most used adjectives for defining the quality and age of a wine because as far as wine goes, the older the better, statement is spot on.

Many advertisement companies are using the vintage posters to flaunt there products because using this type of policy makes the product look timely yet a little dated and thus has a great appeal to all those people attracted towards old and stylish stuff. Antique posters on the other hand are slowly but steadily taking the place of antique statues and pieces in general. Antique posters take less space, are somehow equally pretty to look as the master piece itself and costs a lot less than it as well. People, who are not inhibited by the society and social circle, are more into buying these posters and displaying them.
